LOI Thermprocess has received an order from Seissenschmidt AG for a new roller hearth furnace and a chamber furnace for the normalizing of low-alloy forgings at its plant in Hungary. Seissenschmidt produces precision components for the automobile industry. Targeted heat treatment is used for the soft annealing of high-precision parts to obtain a defined structure and high homogeneity. Commissioning is due to take place in May 2008.

The capacity of the roller hearth furnace will be 1,000 kg/hour. The chamber furnace will be designed for a charge weight of 1,500 kg. The scope of supplies includes a control system with program management for different types of forging as well as batch documentation.
