Belt Furnace
Centorr Vacuum Industries has expanded its offerings for the advanced ceramics market with a new continuous belt furnace design. Effective densification, minimized weight loss (dissociation) and managed crystallinity are all benefits of processing ceramics in this belt furnace. Compared to conventional batch sintering, the small, uniform work envelope provides superb thermal control while heating a continuously moving, small cross-section workload. The furnace has less thermal inertia for the same production capacity compared to conventional batch sintering environment. The 4-inch-wide x 5-inch-high x 48-inch-long hot zone is rated for temperatures up to 1850°C (3362°F). The belt is a link-style silicon carbide and performs repeatably with long life in this temperature range.www.centorrvacuum.comInfo # 261
