Radiant Tube Technology

The reverse-annulus single-ended radiant tube (RASERT) technology increases combustion efficiency and reduces NOx emissions while decreasing maintenance and downtime in gas-fired heat-treating furnaces. The RASERT system, patented by Gas Technology Institute and licensed to North American Manufacturing Company, has the potential to increase production rates over conventional radiant-tube technologies. It is an improvement to current single-ended radiant-tube designs and a cost-effective replacement for other radiant-tube configurations. Applications for RASERT technology include ferrous and nonferrous heat treating, forging, and foundry facilities that use gas-fired radiant U-tubes, straight-through tubes, gas-fired single-ended radiant tubes, or resistive-electric-heating tube elements.
