Nissin Brake has contracted with Consolidated Engineering Company (Kennesaw, Ga.) to install a continuous roller hearth solution heat treatment and age (T-6) system.

Nissin Brakehas contracted withConsolidated Engineering Company(Kennesaw, Ga.) to install a continuous roller hearth solution heat treatment and age (T-6) system. This system will double Nissin's casting processing capacity from 80 per hour to 160 per hour. This will be the third T-6 system CEC has installed for Nissin.

The system is able to combine rapid heat-up and thermal uniformity throughout the castings. It also has an integrated SCADA data-acquisition system and automated upstream/downstream processes.
