Ipsen, Inc. (Rockford, Ill.) delivered an H6672 2-bar TurboTreater™ horizontal vacuum furnace to SWEP NORTH AMERICA, INC.’s Edgefield, S.C., facility. The TurboTreater has a work zone measuring 48 inches wide x 48 inches high x 72 inches deep with a gross load capacity of 8,000 pounds. The enhanced hot zone utilizes CFC material for durability.
SWEP is a leading supplier of compact brazed heat exchangers (CBE). Typical industrial applications of CBE’s include the cooling of lubricating oil in engines on cargo vessels and trains. This is SWEP’s second Ipsen TurboTreater.
