One system was installed at Cape Gate (Pty) Ltd.'s Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng Province, location, and the other was installed at Cape Town Iron & Steel Works (Pty) Ltd.'s Kuilsrivier, Cape Town, location. Analysis of real-time measurements of O2, H2, CO and CO2 has been achieved with the EFSOP™ system.

Goodfellow EFSOP™ technology is an off-gas-based process control system for EAFs. It measures and analyzes EAF off-gases continuously at the fourth-hole for real-time closed-loop process control of EAF steelmaking.
