Techint Goodfellow Technologies Inc.received a purchase order for one Goodfellow EFSOP™ system for theCMC Steel Alabamamelt shop, which will incorporate continuous off-gas-based closed-loop process control. This is the third Goodfellow EFSOP™ system for the CMC Steel Group.

Goodfellow EFSOP™ technology is an off-gas-based process control system for EAF's. It measures and analyzes EAF off-gases continuously at the fourth hole for real-time, closed-loop process control of EAF steelmaking, resulting in improved operations, energy savings, lower conversion costs and safety benefits.
