G-M Receives Vacuum Furnace Orders
G-M Enterprises (Corona, Calif.) has received several orders for vacuum furnaces. G-M has two HVF 501-SFQ furnaces (one 6-bar and one 10-bar), one G-M Model HVF 701-B 2-bar furnace and three G-M Model VVF 202-B 2-bar bottom-loading vertical vacuum furnaces all in the final stages of assembly and checkout. These furnaces are to be used in the processing of aircraft engine parts and land-based turbine components by a major aircraft engine supplier.
The HVF 501-SFQ furnaces have a free work area of 42 inches wide x 42 inches high x 60 inches long. The HVF 701-B 2-bar furnace has a work area of 48 inches wide x 48 inches high x 60 inches long. The VVF 202-B 2-bar furnaces each have metallic hot-zone construction and a GMVAC1 Wonderware Computer Control System.
