OTTO JUNKER GmbH (Simmerath, Germany; http://www.otto-junker.de) received a contract from Kamensk Uralski Metallurgical Works (Russia), a member of the Sual Group, for a heat-treating line for aluminum strip coils and aluminum sheet stacks. The system includes two batch furnaces with protective atmosphere recooler, one charging machine, two loading stations, and a protective atmosphere generator. The strip coils and sheet stacks, varying widely in configuration and size, are heat treated by the high-convection method in a protective gas or air atmosphere.
