Vacuum & Atmosphere Services Ltd. UK (West Bromwich, UK; http://www.vacat.co.uk) and Avion Europa announced a Europe-wide joint venture aimed at the heat-treating industry. This co-operation agreement will utilize the engineering expertise of VAS and the marketing and sales knowledge of Avion Europa. The companies will share their existing sales network throughout Europe to provide new and used equipment, including full after-sales service support, sealed quench furnace rebricks, vacuum furnace relines, relocations, overhaul and refurbishment, panel upgrades and more. The merging of the two companies will bring together a complete range of spare parts for a full line of furnace types.
