Vacuum Furnace Systems (VFS) Corp. (Souderton, Pa.) sold two vacuum furnaces to customers in the Midwest U.S. Bulaw Welding and Engineering in Chicago ordered a horizontal external quench furnace for heat treating and brazing. The furnace includes board-and-felt hot zone insulation and a 2-bar quench system, and is the company's fifth VFS furnace. Johnson Technology in Michigan ordered a horizontal internal quench furnace for brazing, its sixth VFS furnace. It includes board-and-felt insulation and a high-performance quench system. Both systems include CompuVac supervisory control system.
