Ruhrgas Industries announced on 3 April that LOI Group of its Industrial Furnaces Division acquired 100% of the shares in Drever International S.A., Liege (Belgium). The acquisition, which took place in February 2003, was made through LOI Fours Industriels S.A. Liege (Belgium), with economic effect as of January 1, 2003. The transaction was notified and approved for Germany as required under German cartel law. After notification of the transaction to the Brazilian antitrust authorities, the company is now awaiting approval.
