Metal Treating Industry Reports Slight Sales Gains in February 2003

According to the Metal Treating Institute (MTI), Jacksonville Beach, Fla., the metal treating industry showed an increase of 0.5% in sales in February, which totaled $70.3 million compared to $70.0 million in February 2002. The year-to-date billings amounted to $141.7 million, a slight increase of 0.5% over 2002's total of $141.0 million.
