Sinterite Furnace Division, Gasbarre Products Inc., St. Marys, Pa., signed an agreement with C.I. Hayes Inc. to take over the C.I. Hayes Equipment Division. Sinterite will continue to operate the business under the C.I. Hayes name with sales, engineering and service facilities located in Cranston, R.I. Manufacturing will take place at the Sinterite Furnace Division facilities in St. Marys. C.I. Hayes will continue the Heat Treating Division business at the current location in Cranston, R.I. under the name Hayes Heat Treating.
