Rautaruukki Oy awarded Stein Heurtey a contract for the supply of a new generation walking beam furnace of 300 mt/hr. The new furnace, which is to be built at the Raahe Steel Works in Finland, will replace three older pusher furnaces. With the installation of this furnace, Rautaruukki Oy will be able to meet new customers' requirements, namely for large and high quality hot rolled coils. Production is scheduled to start in May 2005.
