Touchstone Research Laboratory (http://www.trl.com), in partnership with Regional Economic Development Partnership, the state of West Virginia and the U.S. Dept. of Defense, has announced plans to build a new facility for the production of a material made from coal. The new plant, which will be built in Triadelphia next to the existing Touchstone facility, will produce larger quantities of CFOAM, a material made from coal that has a wide range of applications from ships to aircrafts to fuel cells and tornado/panic rooms. The new 43,000 square foot facility will eventually provide jobs for 30 additional employees. The first phase of construction is expected to be complete by June 2005.
