Nu-Tride(r) surface treatment enhances wear resistance, increases corrosion resistance, improves fatigue strength and imparts high lubricity on treated surfaces of all ferrous metal components. Applications include automotive and appliance components such as engine valves, suspension components, motor shafts, etc. The QPQ(sm) process can be used to increase corrosion resistance where nitrocarburizing may not be adequate. The black finish resulting from this process is used to enhance the appearance of golf clubs and other recreational applications.
