Available in January 2004, the new ScrewLine SP 630 dry-compressing, screw-type vacuum pump is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional oil-sealed piston vacuum pumps. This robust vacuum pump produces a pumping speed of 371 cfm (175 liters/s) and better than 0.0075 torr vacuum. The SP630 can be used in various heat-treating, brazing and sintering applications, resulting in reduced maintenance, lower operating costs and no oil contamination, as the need for lubricating oil in the pump's compression stage has been eliminated.
