Seco/Warwick To Supply Pit Nitriding Furnace to Nitrex Metal

Seco/Warwick, Meadville, Pa., received an order from Nitrex Metal Inc., St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada, for a pit nitriding furnace. The charge support design is suitable for a 45,000-lb maximum load. Seco/Warwick will supply the insulated furnace shell, heating elements and recirculating fan to Nitrex Metal, who will integrate the furnace and related components into an NX-4238 computer-controlled gas nitriding system for treating parts with the Nitreg(r) process. The system is scheduled for installation at the end-user's facility in Summer 2003.
