Enerzone(tm) all-metal vacuum furnace hot zones are designed to reduce energy consumption 15 to 20% as compared with conventional designs. They may be substituted for insulated types without requiring a transformer change. PLANSEE high-emissivity ML heating elements include a black-body coating, which directs 75% of the radiation into the center of the hot zone (toward the workload) and only 25% to the radiation shielding (toward the cold wall). Additional features include high-performance material upgrades (PLANSEE ML and TZM) on all critical high-temperature components, including PLANSEE PM 2000 ODS Superalloy options to reduce the damage and extend the life in nickel-brazing applications.
