Solar Manufacturing (Telford, Pa.) will install two energy efficient hot zones at Solar Atmospheres Inc. (Souderton, Pa.). The hot zones will be constructed with high purity, low shrinkage graphite felt insulation, a Flex Shield hot face and improved gas quench nozzle technology for rapid cooling. The hot zones are expected to further reduce the watts per square inch of power required and extend hot zone life.
