AFE Klefisch, Hurth, Germany, has been awarded an order from GM-FIAT Powertrain in Aspern, Austria. AFE Klefisch is part of the AFE Technologies Group, a manufacturer of heat resistant cast and fabricated alloys, fixtures, tubes and furnace parts. AFE will supply heat treatment fixtures for the new ECM ICBP furnaces (low pressure carburizing furnaces) made of a proprietary high nickel alloy, which offers high performance in the low pressure carburizing and gas quenching environments.
