Carbolite

Carolite's relaunched bench-top HTF furnaces have maximum operating temperatures of 1700 and 1800 C (3090 and 3270 F). They incorporate 6/12 molybdenum disilicide elements, which are more durable than the type previously used and also have improved thermal-cycling performance and provide more uniform temperature. The HTF 17/10 model achieves a temperature of 1600 C (2910 F) in 50 minutes. Despite the high chamber temperatures, an improved cooling system ensures the outer case is safe to touch.
