G.O. Carlson, Downingtown, Pa., and Jindal Stainless Corp. signed an agreement calling for an exclusive conversion arrangement between the two companies whereby Jindal will roll specialty steel plate in its Baytown, Texas mill for Carlson. Carlson, in turn, will rent space from Jindal to establish a plate processing operation. Carlson also will take over the marketing of specialty plate products and the operation of Jindal's plate finishing facility that is to be modified to increase the scope of its plate size capabilities.
