SECO/WARWICK To Deliver Aluminum Coil/Foil Annealing Furnace

A major global supplier of aluminum foil and sheet products has selected SECO/WARWICK Corp., Meadville, PA, to design, engineer, and manufacture one coil/foil annealing furnace for their Southwestern USA plant. The capacity of this furnace will range between 360,000 pounds of aluminum foil to 380,000 pounds of sheet coil. The furnace will feature proprietary cold car design, internal atmosphere bypass cooling, optimum zone to zone heat head temperature controls, the proprietary mesh and mortar insulation system, atmosphere controls, variable frequency drives for defined fan performance, PLC based control system, with MMI capabilities and network communications that tie into an existing plant-wide system.
