The Exotom-100T metallographic saw has a 17" cut-off wheel and a 14 HP motor, enough to handle the vast majority of cutting jobs and samples up to 6" diameter. The saw offers four different cutting modes and has a sample capacity of 4" x 12". It is supplied with the company's ExciCutT technology where the wheel performs an oscillating movement into the specimen. A large stainless steel cutting table (33.6" x 21.6") with multiple, bi-directional 12 mm T-slots allows for flexible clamping options in both the X and Y directions. Side openings allow for protruding samples. An OptiFeedT feature monitors all cutting parameters and automatically adjusts them according to the load on the cutting arm.
