Bodycote Cincinnati Installs New Bottom Loader Furnace

Bodycote Thermal Processing, Inc., Dallas, TX, has installed a bottom loading vacuum furnace at its Cincinnati, OH facility. This is the facility's sixth vacuum furnace in their growing vacuum capacity. The furnace will be used primarily in the vacuum heat treatment and brazing of aerospace and ground turbine components. The furnace has a 48" diameter by 48" tall hot zone. The furnace has a weight capacity of 2500 pounds and is capable of reaching maximum temperatures of 2200¯F. Other features include a graphite hot zone and elements. The furnace will utilize Nitrogen and Argon gases for both partial pressure and quench atmospheres.
