Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) are designed for high-accuracy temperature measurement in a variety of industrial air/gas applications and come with either platinum, nickel or nickel iron elements. Two-, three-, and four-wire styles are standard with an assortment of connections, mounting hardware and enclosures offered to suit harsh chemical, immersion and other heavy-duty requirements. RTDs are also offered for high-pressure applications to 5,000 PSI as well as sanitary-grade stainless steel hardware. Sealed leadwire transition eliminates contamination, while operating temperatures to 1500 F (815 C) are achievable with these sensors. An optional internal thermocouple can be located at various points for precise temperature control.
