Thermal Product Solutions (Portage, Mich.), a unit of SPX Corp., will expand manufacturing at its MPH facility in Riverside, Mich. Over the next several months, the company will transfer the manufacturing of its heat treat processing equipment from its Lindberg operation in Watertown, Wis., to the MPH facility. The current facility in Riverside is 60,000 square feet and houses the production of MPH brand nonferrous melting, holding and metal transfer products. When the transfer is complete, the operation will manufacture the company's complete line of heat treating equipment including integral quench Pacemakers, pit, box, conveyor, walking beam, pusher and kiln furnaces, as well as the current MPH products. All support operations for heat treat products, including sales, engineering, service and parts will remain in Watertown.
