Praxair Inc., Danbury, Conn., signed a contract with Baosteel to provide the CoJet(r) gas injection system in its 150-ton twin-shell electric-arc furnace. The project includes the supply of CoJet system injectors, valve racks, carbon injection system and advanced automation control for both shells of the furnace. The system will be operational in early 2004.
