At its Hermitage plant in Pennsylvania, Solar Atmospheres completed construction of a clean room for its vacuum brazing operations. Solar's expansion of braze processing also includes a new alliance using S-Bond Technology, a joining process used for aluminum, cold plates, heat exchangers for electronics, electronic packaging, sensors, biomedical and applications where dissimilar materials need to be joined. The new clean room will allow servicing for local vacuum brazing requirements in the Pittsburgh, Cleveland corridor as well as national customers.
