Metall Technologie Holding (MTH) GmbH, based in Menden, Dortmund, acquired a 50% share in IVA Industrieöfen (industrial furnaces) GmbH, also in Dortmund.

Metall Technologie Holding (MTH) GmbH (www.mth-group.com), based in Menden, Dortmund, acquired a 50% share in IVA Industrieöfen (industrial furnaces) GmbH (www.iva-online.com), also in Dortmund. IVA, founded in 1984, manufactures protective gas and vacuum heat treatment furnaces and generates an annual turnover of approximately 17 million Euros. Apart from the construction and manufacture of furnaces, IVA also develops new hardware and software systems. Metall Technologie Holding GmbH, founded in 1999, comprises B.M.I. Fours Industriels in Lyon (France), Mahler GmbH, Industrieofenbau (industrial furnace production), Plochingen and Schmetz GmbH, Vakuumöfen (vacuum furnaces), Menden (both based in Germany). Together with IVA, these four furnace manufacturers will generate an annual turnover of approximately 55 million Euros and employ a staff of 200 employees.
