Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic Corp. (Warren, Ohio) received a contract from Bonney Forge (Mount Union, Pa.) for an 1125 kW induction billet heating system. The system consists of an ATM 1125 kW, 1 KHz, Pacer II power supply, vibratory bowl with 180 degree inclined vibratory in feed track, Pinch Roll driven fixture, under the coil capacitor band substructure, automatic coil shuttle and two coil sets, each set consisting of three coils. "Forgeview Controls" including an Allen Bradley PLC will also be provided for system control and quality assurance. Following testing at Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic's Warren facility, the system will be dispatched to Bonney for installation and startup during the third quarter of 2004.
