Hauck Manufacturing Company Completes Test Furnace
Hauck Manufacturing Company, Lebanon, PA, announced the completion of a new product development test furnace. The furnace has load simulation and automatic pressure controlled capability. Test burner can be fired using natural gas, light fuel oil, heavy fuel oil and liquid propane. Maximum operating temperature is 2400¯F. The inside chamber is 9' wide x 18' long and 6' high. The side walls and roof are composed of 12" thick ceramic fiber modules. There are 34 silicon carbide air tubes at the furnace walls for load simulation. Exhaust gas testing capability exists for NOx (ppm), CO (ppm), HxCx (ppm), and percent O2. The load simulation capability in the new furnace will facilitate the development of new low emission burner technologies.
