The Gauge Buster Recorder has a 4,096 Hz sampling rate, user programmable log rate and comes with a remote push-button to trigger the start of a recording. A 24-bit analog-to-digital converter for high accuracy measurements exceed ASTM E4 specifications and can store up to 32,767 points per waveform. The recorder is powered by an ac wall adapter or optionally can be purchased as a battery powered instrument. The company's WinCom PLUS data communications program is provided with the recorder so waveforms can be quickly uploaded into a Windows-based PC/laptop for viewing of force/stress vs. time or force/stress vs. displacement curves.
