The IRt/c infrared temperature sensor provides continuous direct determination of product temperature without extra product handling or contact. With a 0.1 second response time, the unit quickly detects when the product temperature begins to rise rapidly, an indication that the products have reached low moisture content. By accurately determining this "dry-out" point, optimizing the heating rate to force the dry-out point to a specific spot in the drying process is possible. Available in a choice of housing materials and focal configurations, integration into existing control systems is simple.
