The DC-2 microprocessor-based digital instrument is designed for fast, accurate conductivity testing. Using precise digital electronics and the eddy current principle, the DC-2 measures electrical conductivity of nonmagnetic metals and the thickness of nonconductive coatings. The instrument features a measurement range of 0.9% - 106% IACS and a thickness range of 0.01 to 2.54 mm. The unit operates at three different frequencies (60 kHz, 120 kHz, and 240 kHz) which allow the use of higher frequencies for the testing of thin material.
