Two years after the failure of Bodycote IMT's 60" HIP unit destroyed Plant 2 and seriously damaged Plant 1 at the Andover site, Bodycote IMT, Inc., Andover, MA, is back in business. During the return to service, substantial upgrades were made in computer controls, gas piping systems, manufacturing facilities, R&D facilities and HIP equipment. R&D capability is fully restored and manufacturing facilities are fully enabled with new and rebuilt outgassing furnaces and improved crane coverage.
