A new model has been added to the FlashLineT thermal diffusivity instruments line. The system can operate from room temperature to 1832¯F (1000¯C), with pressures inside the test chamber of up to 500 psi (35 bar). Features include: fiber optic delivery of the laser pulse to the specimen, fully automatic operation, and numerous safety features. A variety of materials can be tested in vacuum, as well as in different atmospheres (nitrogen, argon, helium, etc.), over the entire range of temperatures and pressures.
