SECO/WARWICK Corp. (Meadville, Pa.; http://www.secowarwick.com) received an order from Metals Technology Corp. for a 15 bar Universal HPQ™ (high pressure quench) vacuum furnace with isothermal cooling and low pressure vacuum carburizing for its heat treat facility in Carol Stream, Ill. The furnace has a hot zone of 36 in. by 32 in. by 48 in. and a maximum temperature rating of 2,400°F and 3,500 lb gross loading capacity.
