Allied Mineral Products Inc. (Columbus, Ohio), a producer of monolithic refractories for the foundry, steel and aluminum industries, completed a building expansion project at its office and production facility in Johannesburg, South Africa. Allied Metallurg South Africa (Pty) Ltd. (AMTESA), which began operations in 1998, is a joint venture between Allied Mineral Products and Metallurg South Africa (Pty) Ltd. The expansion includes a new warehouse and office space.
