Rolled Alloys (Temperance, Mich.; http://www.rolledalloys.com) completed a major expansion and added new processing equipment in its Cincinnati, Ohio warehouse and processing center. The facility has been expanded from 24,000 to 36,000 square feet, allowing room for additional inventory and new processing capabilities. A new Trumpf Trumatic L3030 laser has been installed in the facility capable of cutting stainless grades to a maximum of 5/8 in. thick and nickel alloys up to 3/8 in. thick. In addition, a Timesaver burr removal machine has been purchased, along with a Virtek Coordinate Measuring Machine. An Accushear 0.25 in. Hydraulic Shear Model 62506 has been added, which cuts to a tolerance of +/-0.005 in. on material up to 0.125 in. thick and operate at up to 55 cycles per minute.
