Effective January 31, 2005, Pyrotek Inc. (Spokane, Wash.; http://www.pyrotek.info), a provider of products and services to the global primary-secondary aluminum industries and the nonferrous foundry industry, acquired the assets of Metaullics worldwide. Metaullics (Solon, Ohio), a leading innovator in molten metal processing technology, specializes in pumps, degassing and bonded particle filtration. The acquisition includes the assets of Metaullics Systems L.P. based in the U.S., Metaullics System Europe B.V. in the Netherlands, EMP Technologies Ltd. based in the UK and Metaullics Systems Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. Metaullics will operate as an integrated business unit within Pyrotek.
