LOI Thermprocess GmbH received a contract from Sidmar N.V. of Belgium to expand the Sidgal 1 vertical galvanizing line.

LOI Thermprocess GmbH (Essen, Germany; http://www.loi.de) received a contract from Sidmar N.V. of Belgium to expand the Sidgal 1 vertical galvanizing line, which includes extending the NOF (nonoxidizing furnace) and RTF (radiant tube furnace) sections of the existing plant. Sidmar expects a 25% increase in capacity as a result of the expansion. Production is expected to restart in June 2005.
