Techint Technologies in Italy (http://www.techint-technologies.com) supplied an ultrahigh power electric arc furnace to Tianjin Pipe Corp. (TPCO). The technology and main equipment was supplied by Techint Industrial Technologies (Beijing) Co. Ltd., which sourced the technology and equipment from Techint (Italy). The furnace is equipped with the latest generation KT injection system and a TDR-H electrode regulation system. The first heat was produced less than six months after receiving the contract.
