Homogenizing Furnace Delivered in Mexico

Indalum, S.A. of Monterrey, Mexico has purchased an aluminum log homogenizing furnace from SECO/WARWICK Corporation, Meadville, PA. The furnace will be designed for a maximum batch load capacity of approximately 211,000 pounds, and will process aluminum logs that are 7" and 9" in diameter, with typical lengths being 240" long. Further, a forced air/water mist cooling enclosure will be designed to provide for rapid cooling of the homogenized aluminum logs.
