The 4th edition of the "Worldwide Guide to Equivalent Irons and Steels" has been released by ASM International. The 1,138-p volume incorporates the many changes in the specifications and designations of irons and steels that have occurred over the past six years. Through more than 25,000 total records, the guide covers more countries, alloys, and standards, while keeping obsolete or inactive designations and former alloy designations for those trying to duplicate equipment from old documents.
