Wheeling-Nisshin has awarded BOC Gases, Murray Hill, NJ, a $4 millon contract to supply 25 tons-per-day of nitrogen to its plant in Follansbee, West Virginia. The gas will be sourced from BOC's air separation unit (ASU) in Arroyo, West Virginia. Wheeling-Nisshin uses nitrogen in atmosphere make-up and purging in the production of galvanize, galvanneal, aluminize, and GalvalumeR steel sheets.
