Ceramic Processing Furnace Shipped

Centorr Vacuum Industries, Nashua, NH, has shipped two co-fire furnaces for high thermal conductivity ceramic substrate processing to ZiMARC, a division of Alberta Research Council Inc. (ARC) in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The Super VII design has a hot zone of 8" x 8" x 20", constructed with tungsten elements and a tungsten/molybdenum shield pack. The two furnaces were outfitted with combination mechanical/diffusion pumping systems and were designed to operate in high vacuum as well as with positive pressure flow through gases.
