Pressurized nitrogen injected into the chamber of the inert atmosphere batch oven displaces air and reduces oxygen content to less than one percent. The resulting inert atmosphere prevents oxidation and boosts yields. Available in maximum temperature ranges of either 650¯F or 1000¯F (343¯C or 538¯C), the oven features a tight temperature uniformity of I1.5¯F. Dry heat exchangers facilitate cool-down without reintroducing oxygen. The programmable temperature controller allows a variety of profile options for varying purge, ramp-up and cool-down sequences.
